my one word for 2013

It’s rather simple, I must say. Somewhat embarrassing, even, this word I’ve chosen.

But slowly, I’m learning the beauty of 2013 rests in the letting go, in the leaving of old paths and finding new, in the simple act of bending and whispering…

A few of us have been asked by Prodigal Magazine to sum up what 2013 means to us in one word. So over there, you’re welcome to read the one word, you could say, that chose me and the words others have chosen. And maybe you’ll share yours with us also?

Blessings on your day, friends…

So glad you stopped by, friend. But will you please consider joining the community by signing up to receive new posts via email? Just 3 a week, slipped silently to you, from me.

In Him, Always for Him,

In turn He’s getting More of you and you’ll get so much More of Him. Such a beautiful thing, this refining, this humbling, this pride breaking. Rich blessings as He leads you closer to His heart, Duane, through the lessening of everything else.

Duane, I chose the word “simplify” for 2013 for many of the same reasons you chose the word “less.”  Bless you and your year.

I’ve been wondering how you are, and praying for you and SG… letting go is so freeing…y one word is “Trust” for 2013.

A late choice is sometimes a good thing– I actually FORGOT my word (not a good sign!) and had to go look it up– BALANCE. I tend to live 2 lives: one during the school year, which is all about my job, and the other in summer, which is everything else.
I’m happy to see a post from you. Been missing you and praying for you.
