I think this, as I read the words, not once, not twice, but over and over. “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.” – Romans 4:20 Fingers trace the words again,…  And one day, that young man grapples for life and misses, but instead, falls straight into the arms of his Savior.  And once in a while, a chuckle escapes, laughter bubbles and we glance at each other, a stolen moment when we realize how we are together in this world just trying to understand what makes this life so grand.  He was talking about friends like Caroline who carry us through when we’re too weary to carry ourselves. |
